This leading Commodity futures firm is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager within their city based finance team. You will report to the Chief Accountant and will be responsible for the management of 3 accounts assistants.

-Involvement in the monthly financial close process including accruals and account analysis, accounting for complex accounting areas, and account reconciliations.
-The keeping of all financial records, accounts and schedules to the requirements of the Auditors and general accepted accounting standards and practices
-Maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley process documentation in specific areas of responsibility, ensuring controls are undertaken as documented
-Involvement in the research, documentation and implementation of various complex accounting issues as is appropriate
-Various reviewing activities associated with supervision of the Credit Controller, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Clerks

Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post qualification experience preferably gained in a relevant multinational company with multiple subsidiaries.
Strong knowledge of UK, US GAAP and the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
