A Top Tier Insurance Firm seeks Senior Financial Analyst to work in their EMEA business area.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing finance advice and support to senior corporate staff leaders in Technology and potentially other corporate areas, and their delegates.
Main responsibilities:
Act as liaison between functional group and finance teams.
Prepare annual budget and ongoing financial forecasts pertaining to the specific functional area, including income statement and cash flow projections.
Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, providing relevant analysis and insight
Develop the business case/financial analyses for function initiatives such as those relating to transformational activities
Monitoring investment and savings associated with approved function initiatives
Develop and implement operational and financial metrics to be used in assessing functional performance
Create ad-hoc financial models to assess the feasibility of new ventures or products
The candidate: Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive experience working in a controlling/financial management capacity within a large multinational firm. Experience creating budgets and forecasts. MBA desirable.
