The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director you will manage and motivate a team of five staff, ensuring that a consistent, comprehensive and effective financial accounting service is provided across The Partnership.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage and review the preparation of accounts and reconciliations for a number of companies, ensuring financial integrity and compliance with accounting timetables
+ Prepare consolidated accounts for The Partnership, liaising with senior managers and external auditors
+ Oversee statutory requirements and financial returns, effectively dealing with Corporation tax and VAT matters
+ Develop effective financial systems and policies, ensuring that consistent practices are in place across The Partnership
Requirements:
+ CCAB qualified (or overseas equivalent) with up to date knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards
+ Strong technical accounting experience including preparing financial statements for audit and completing statutory returns
+ Ability to manage and motivate staff in a progressive environment and develop effective systems and procedures
