Adults Social Care Income
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will facilitate the training and strategic
development of the Adults' Social Services Income function.
Responsibilities:
+ Proactively devising and introducing effective systems and procedures for the Adults Income service
+ Interpreting legislation and reviewing business processes to identify solutions
+ Providing training, development and support for staff on new policies and
initiatives, producing comprehensive training documentation
+ Acting as a project manager in system upgrades and implementations
Requirements:
+ Strong strategic and operational understanding of income assessment,
billing, collection and recovery processes
+ Local government finance experience, including substantial knowledge of Adults' Social Services Income legislation
+ Ability to communicate complex information and lead on new initiatives
