Senior Internal Auditor - Northern region*
Senior Internal Auditor - Southern region*
•£33,500 plus car allowance & excellent benefits
The Role
Based in either the Northern or Southern region of an acclaimed nationwide organisation, you will oversee the provision of an effective and responsive internal audit service for your area. Reporting to the Head of Audit & Assurance you will be responsible for the following:
* Day to day management of the work and performance of the Internal Audit Team in your region
* Lead on Group and strategic audits
* Take an active role in the development and co-ordination of The Partnership's risk management and controls assurance framework
* Proactively participate in the co-ordination and implementation of the Audit & Risk Management software and working practices
* Influence best practice, taking responsibility for ensuring that consistent procedures are applied
* Report on internal audit activities to the subsidiary Audit & Risk Committee and to senior managers
The Candidate
* Qualified to PIIA standard of the Institute of Internal auditors or equivalent
* Comprehensive experience of internal audit, including leading audits from planning to reporting stage
* Ability to supervise & support others within a small team
* Ability to manage projects
*These roles will ideally be based in Manchester and Bristol respectively; however there is some flexibility with locations across the regions due to The Partnership's wide network of offices
